We are to be against the evil forces on earth and in the heavenlies . The devil is a defeated foe. He has lost the war, although he still fights. Our Commander in Chief conquered him at every turn: at the great temptation, during His earthly ministry, in Gethsemane, at the Cross, at the empty tomb, and His present intercessory work, he will be chained at Christ’s coming, then ultimately cast into an eternal lake of fire.”
