Psalm 110:1-2 (CB)

A Psalm of David.

The LORD says to my Lord:

        “Sit at my right hand,

    until I make your enemies your footstool.”

    The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies!

Our Savior reigns. Jesus is Lord of all. He wields the scepter of His Word across the world and we are either made His subjects or we remain His enemies. Those who claim to be Christ’s should be distinguished by true holiness. The power of Christ’s Spirit causes His true people to willingly offer themselves to Him as living sacrifices. Those who persist in rebellion against Him will be smashed when He returns to destroy the kingdom of Satan. Are you in submission to King Jesus? Do you obey Him from the heart?
