Join Us For Bible Study - Monday's at 3 p.m. EST

For several years DCM has been hosting Bible Studies via Zoom each Monday at 3 p.m. Eastern Time.

Beginning on Monday, January 12, 2026, we will begin a study titled "The Being, Names, and Attributes of God" (which is found in the first blog entry on our website).

Why is this study so important?

There is no truth higher, more glorious, or more essential for us to know. Nor is there any teaching of Scripture more needed in our day, as we are guilty of idolatry by embracing and proclaiming ideas about the One, True, Triune God that are unworthy of His glorious Being, Name, and Attributes.

A.W. Tozer wrote 65 years ago in his book, The Knowledge of the Holy: "The Church has surrendered her once lofty concept of God and has substituted it for one so low, so ignoble, as to be utterly unworthy of thinking, worshiping men…The low view of God entertained almost universally among Christians is the cause of a hundred lesser evils everywhere among us. A whole new philosophy of the Christian life has resulted from this one basic error in our religious thinking....A right conception of God is basic not only to systematic theology but to practical Christian living as well. It is to worship what the foundation is to the temple; where it is inadequate or out of plumb the whole structure must sooner or later collapse. I believe there is scarcely an error in doctrine or a failure in applying Christian ethics that cannot be traced finally to imperfect and ignoble thoughts about God.”
