Colossians 3:1-4 (CB)

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

DEFAULT SETTING?

What is the default setting of your mind? What does your mind gravitate toward when you go about your day? Our spiritual growth is dependent on what we seek & set our minds on. The secret of holy living starts in the mind, what we think; not what we feel. This world in not our home (v4)! Our treasure, Christ’s glory will be revealed when we get home. Pray, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will we done….We must be heavenly minded, to grow; and be useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. (2Tim.3:21). We have been raised up with Christ (v1). We are in union & communion with Christ! What a glorious gospel foundational truth!

Prayer: Father forgive my earthly mindedness. Help me by Your Holy Spirit to set my mind, and keep seeking the things above; Christ my future glory & treasure! Amen
